A Must Read for Every American

I was unable to put this book down after I began reading it. As an American familiar with Algeria and the region of Algeria that Mr. Aym is from, I was intrigued with the subject material to begin with. But after delving more deeply into this book, I began to see how horrifying it must have been for Zighen to have to face the fact that without reason, he had become a victim of racial profiling.
I think this is a must read for any American who thinks the war on terror has been without dire consequences to the people who have sought refuge on our shores. Many are leaving places where they were terrorized by their governments and now we are dishing out the very things that people came here to escape.
I was pleased to learn that this book is required reading in several universities in the Mid West. As an American who has traveled to Algeria and works with several international authors as well as Algerian writers, I am pleased to recommend this book on the behalf of Arabesques Press.
