Yesterday, Interpol, which is the International Police, has asked for the arrest of Saadi Qaddafi, the second son of fallen Libyan leader Muammer Qaddafi.

I won't question this request, except that another faller leader, Ben Ali of Tunisia, is doing well in Saudia Arabia and enjoying his safety.

I almost forgot that Saudi Arabia is a good friend of the West (Europe and the United States) and Interpol is a Western tool.

Is this another case of double standards?

Ethnic Profiling is the Rule

I could not believe this story when my friend Jane from Boston sent me the link.
The world is lucky that it happened to a person who could write. Shoshana Hebshi, a free-lance writer, has eloquently detailed her experience with the ethnic profiling enforcement agencies. Shoshana is a Jewish-Arab American citizen.

I read her initial story on her blog at Some real Shock and Awe: Racially
profiled and cuffed in Detroit and then Yahoo News article at Sept. 11 Flight Removal Sparks Important Dialogue.

The response to her initial blog was overwhelming. In contrast, many of comments of the Yahoo news were racist. One person even made a uncalled
comment.

Computers waste papers

I received the letter shown on the left. It is from my gas and electricity provider. It is informing me that the automatic bank draft request in the amount of $0.00 has been declined.

Of course the bank will decline a draft in the amount of $0.00. Or maybe it sent you the amount of $0.00 and you did not received it.

I am not sure If I should laugh at the letter from Corn Belt Energy and cry because of a mediocre software program....
