Animal Rights - Lecesiter

On Sunday, November 5 I walked from the Marriott Hotel to downtown Leceister. It was not a long walk :Only 4.3 miles (7.095 Km). One hundred yards from the hotel, I ran into a snail that slowly crossing my path. I stopped and knelled to look it and witness a short moment of its life.  It felt my presence, retracted its two thin tentacles (its eyes are located at the end of each one) and its body and hid in its shell.  After a minute of two of me not moving, it felt safe and  resumed the long journey and finish the last stretch on the foot path to the grass.

I was quite amazed that it crossed the car rod without loosing its life.

I tool resumed my walk to the City Centre of Leceister, walking past houses, crossing streets and roundabouts. The weather was nice: Blue sky with a few clouds, and the air was fresh and pleasant.

What attracted me at the walk way of the City Centre was  a group od lads and ladys, standing in a circle, looking outside of the circle. A few held signs that said "Truth," others held laptops for onlookers to see the violence perpetrated on pigs in farms. A few of their colleagues were outside talking to visitors and people who strolled by.  One of them, Michael, approached me and started to discuss the matter. I indicated that I had recently seen three documentaries that have started to make me think about my contribution to animal violence because of my consumption of me. They are available on Netflix as of this date:  COWSPIRACY, WHAT THE FORK, and FORKS OVER KNIVES.
