IN 1996, the WWW (World Wide Web) was in its enfancy. Thta was before Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat If I am not mistaken, the first page that focused on the Amazigh (Berber) language and culture was that of Karim Aguenaou. He was a student at McGill University. If you did visit his site in 1996, you would have seen the following:
Karim has a new site, which you can visit at http://www.mondeberbere.com/accueil-en.htm
Another website was that of Amazigh Voice, a publication of ACAA, the Amazigh Cultural Association in America. It was hosted and maintained by Louisa Sellami out of the University of Maryland.
