There is certainly a lot of excitement about Obama’s trip to the Middle East. The corporate media’s talk includes words such engagement, dialogue, mission with the Muslim. In the end, what I saw is Obama with the same dictators that the US has been supporting for so many years. What a Shame for someone who wanted change.
Obama is talking with the same rulers who have oppressed their people for so long. In addition, the supposedly harsh words about the Israelis settlements, they will nothing but words. Israel is not listening. Obama’s words are for public consumption.
If President Obama wanted to do something different, he will put human rights and democracy first before talking the repressive regimes that are in power in a region that goes from Morocco to Syria.
